Who made it? Francisco Martínez works at Taller Pitao Copycha in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, a studio committed to keeping traditional hand-building techniques alive and in daily use. His small forms are made with the same care as the large ones.
Where does it come from? The Central Valleys of Oaxaca are home to dozens of indigenous communities where ceramic production is woven into daily life. The clay traditions here predate written history.
Use it for salt, olive oil, a mezcal snack, or anything small that deserves its own space. Hand wash.
