It will be of special interest to practicing engineers and researchers in the physical sciences, for considerable attention is given to those problems which illustrate the application of the theory of functions of a complex variable to problems dealing with the mechanics of continuous media and electrical engineering. The problems themselves range in difficulty from elementary to those encountered only in more advanced treatments.The first four chapters involve complex numbers and functions of a complex variable; conformal mappings connected with elementary functions; supplementary geometrical questions and generalized analytic functions; and integrals and power series.
Chapters V through VIII cover the Launrent series, singularities of single-valued functions, and integral functions; various series of functions, parametric integrals, and infinite products; residues and their applications; integrals of the Cauchy type; and integral functions of Poisson and Schwarz.
The final three chapters discuss analytic continuation, singularities of many-valued character, and Riemann Surfaces; conformal mappings; and applications to mechanic and physics. Answers and solutions are grouped at the end of the text.

Matte, weightless, mildly drying

Very good sunscreen. It is very similar to the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunscreen but with less/minimal fragrance. It absorbs immediately and feels matte and invisible. The only slight downside is that the silica in the sunscreen is actually so good at absorbing oil that it is mildly drying. This is great for people with oily skin, but people with acne like myself often use retinoids that are already very drying, and this can magnify the dryness. I often follow this sunscreen with some moisturizer to counteract the drying effect.

It is a good sunscreen, but if your skin is very oily, think again.

I have tried many, MANY sunscreens, and this one is in my top 10, but not at the very top. Why not? Well, what I like about it is that you get a good amount for an excellent price. It's lightweight, but not extremely so, and this size can easily last you 3 months without any problem. However, while it's made for oily skin, it's not that light. After just a few hours of application, it can leave your skin feeling greasy, especially if you sweat easily. It doesn't leave a white cast, but it does leave a slight, shiny finish. Reapplying isn't very comfortable. If you use it just once a day, it's fine, but if you apply it more often, your skin will feel a bit heavy and oily. I think this sunscreen is better for specific occasions rather than for daily use. If I had to choose a sunscreen for daily use, I would pick one with a lighter formula, like Fusion Water from Isdin.
