The air reservoir of the instrument is positioned in the player's lap, and the player can apply pressure to the reservoir from both sides using their arms. Because of this air reservoir, there is no need to use the breath-return technique typically required for playing other wind instruments.

 the Structure

Skin
The main component of this instrument is the Ney Anban, which is made from the tanned skin of four-legged animals, such as goats or sheep, or from musk. This part stores air and has both an air inlet (mouth) and an air outlet (Ney Anban handle).

Handle:
The handle is a wooden sheath, typically made of cedar or Benard, shaped like a gutter. Inside the handle, two reeds are placed and secured using wax. Each reed features six sound holes, with a reed placed at the head of each one.

Reeds:
The reeds mentioned are the same ones that are installed on the handle of the instrument.

Mouthpiece:
The mouthpiece is where the instrument is played. It is designed in the shape of a spool.

Love this holder of all the things! We purchased this 4 years ago and it has work great, rust-free, until my husband piled two pots on it and it broke last night. I am immediately purchasing another one. It is very easy to install and stays put, no movement at all.

Works well
Color: Silver
The stainless steel caddy quality is fine, the sticker was easy to install on the inside of my stainless steel sink. I initially used the small movable arm to hang on the hooks, and it did not keep the caddy in place. Anytime it was hit, it fell off or tilted off the hooks. Customer service followed up with me on my purchase, gave me the correct instructions with a picture, and I was able to snap the caddy into the hooks. They were responsive, listened to my concerns and answered my questions, and now it works great. I would recommend this.

It doesn’t take up so much space
Color: Silver
This is perfect for my use. I did have to place the sticker on it to hold it in place. I have a Blanco sink which isn’t smooth.

Negative reviews are misleading it definitely works just fine.
Color: Silver
Noticed the only negative reviews were because the hooks would not fit and was sort of concerned about that, but I figured it might be one of those things where it’s the person’s fault not the product. Sure enough it was. The hook fits, yea you have to push it in there with a slight bit of force, but it definitely does fit. What those people don’t realize is that by design the hooks are like that to keep a firm hold onto the tray itself. I found it funny how mad people were about that when really it’s very very simple to make it work. Nice product sticks well, seems sturdy.

Good product, lousy instructions
Color: Silver, Color: Silver
This is a good product with terrible instructions. I’ve used this adhesive strip before so I know how to install the basket & how to remove the strip. To get a snug fit position one of the basket's vertical wires in the middle of one of the horizontal bars then press down hard until you hear it snap into place, it’s now snug & will not tip over. To remove the adhesive strip I used a putty knife & wiggled it underneath the strip until I had loosened & lifted enough of it to get a good grip & pull the rest off. Mine is installed on a ceramic tile back splash not in the sink so this method did not damage the tile, can't say what it would do to stainless steel. I'm a 72 y/o woman with arthritis, if I can get the adhesive off anyone can.
